Music has played a large part in my life since I was a child. It has the ability to affect my mood, uplift me as well as depress me. On occasions music has been my rock, my friend through the great, good and bad times.
With this blog I shall share some of this with you, document the gigs/concerts I go to and give my own personal thoughts and recommendations on the music and musicians I come across. Please note these are personal reflections, I have no links to the music industry in any way.
Why “raptureeffect”? This comes from the title of a book I read called “The Rapture Effect” by Jeffrey Carver available here. The storyline includes references to music and is possibly the only sci-fi book to do so at least I’ve not read any others with music in them and I’ve read an awful lot.
